Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organisation. They have 1.36 million members in more than 46,000 clubs worldwide.

Lions are everywhere. They are men and women engaged in community projects in more than 208 countries and geographical areas.

Lions have a varied history. Founded in 1917, the association is best known for fighting blindness, which is part of their history and also part of their work today. In addition, they volunteer for various community projects, including protecting the environment, fighting hunger and assisting the elderly and disabled.

Why the Lions Winter Games?

The Lions Winter Games aim to raise funds for the purchase of equipment and furniture for the palliative care residential facility at the Feltre hospital for the care of the terminally ill.

We carved customised wooden trophies for the Lionsopen, the Lions Winter Games.

The XXXVIII edition competitions were held in San Martino di Castrozza from 31 January to 2 February.

Various subjects were sculpted, from the “Lions International” coat of arms with gold leaf to skiers in the various disciplines.
