After a long journey, the desert merchant arrives near Bethlehem and he begins unloading his dromedary. He has already taken off his shoes because he is very tired. But in this moment something scares the animal, that with a leap forward tries to get up and run away. Among shouts and curses, the poor merchant tries to stop him by jumping on his back. This is the scene we tried to capture with this new sculpture for the traditional nativity scene.
