Supper at Emmaus

To create this bas-relief, we were inspired by the painting of Caravaggio made in 1601, that today is found in the National Gallery of London.

The painting depicts the moment when the resurrected but incognito Jesus, reveals himself to two of his disciples in the town of Emmaus, only to soon vanish from their sight (Gospel of Luke 24: 13-32).
