Who is Lions?
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization. They have 1.36 million members in over 46,000 clubs worldwide.
Lions are everywhere. There are men and women involved in community projects in over 208 countries and geographical areas.
Lions have a varied history. Founded in 1917, the association is known primarily for the fight against blindness, which is part of their history and also of their current activities. In addition, they engage in volunteering for various community projects, including protecting the environment, fighting hunger and assisting the elderly and impaired people.
Why Lions Winter Games?
The Lions winter games aim to raise funds for the purchase of equipment and furniture for the residential facility for palliative therapy of Feltre’s hospital, for assistance to the terminally ill.
